I’m in Manhattan, Kansas this weekend attending Society of Composers Inc’s Region VI conference. I worked with three talented undergrad singers on “Sparrow” tonight, wish them the best tomorrow morning! Tonight’s concert featured Thelema Trio from Belgium. Interesting instrumentation: clarinet, saxophone and piano. And what virtuoso performance!
Elaine Niu and Chris Cramer will be performing at the Chazen Museum of Art (800 University Ave, Madison WI). On their fabulous guitar song recital, they will be performing my Yuan Songs!
